Lafayette, Ind., April 2022 — PLACE, a real estate technology and business services platform for top producing agent teams, announced today that Spencer Childers and The Spencer Childers Real Estate Group are now powered by PLACE. PLACE exclusively partners with leading real estate teams, regardless of brokerage, in 100+ locations across the United States and Canada.

Since he became a real estate professional in 2016, Spencer Childers has helped 665 families achieve the dream of homeownership. He ranks in the top five percent of agents in the Lafayette – Purdue area, and in 2021, he closed more than $44.5 million in volume through 213 transactions.

After graduating from Purdue University, Childers spent three years with a prominent bank as a private client banker before deciding he was ready to try something new. He earned his license and entered a red hot real estate market. Childers hit the ground running by hitting the phones to land new clients while leveraging social media to keep in touch with and grow his sphere.

“In the beginning, real estate seemed like just a job, but my view has changed over the years,” explained Childers. “I realized it could be a thriving business. Now, I am financially independent and get a lot of fulfillment helping others achieve their goals through real estate.” Childers’ mantra with both his clients and his team is “building wealth through real estate” and he is passionate about helping others foster financial independence. “We are all fun, driven people that want to have big lives,” said Childers. “And, we want to partner with others to help them create even bigger lives.”

Childers is competitive by nature and has set big goals for himself and his team. “I want to be one of the first PLACE teams to do $1 billion in volume,” he said. “PLACE has systems to make that possible.” To meet that $1 billion mark, he is looking to expand to other major markets in Indiana – Fort Wayne, Bloomington, Indianapolis, and Kokomo – while also increasing the number of services he offers clients. Thanks to the PLACE partnership, Childers will be able to provide everything clients need in one place, including insurance, mortgage, title, and property management. “I want to be really big and good at everything,” he said. “I want to expand and grow just to see if I can.” And once he achieves his current goals, Childers won’t sit back – he’ll set even bigger ones. “I love the challenge of it,” he explained. “I run at full speed all the time and I am confident that PLACE will expedite the journey.”
