Before entering real estate in 2014, Tim built his career in construction and entrepreneurship, running a painting business before transitioning into real estate. His passion for community development and strategic problem-solving led him to build a thriving business that combines market expertise with creativity. “I wanted to find a way to channel my passion for community development, and real estate was the perfect fit,” said Tim.
From the start, Tim knew that success in real estate required collaboration. He intentionally built a gritty, servant-hearted, tech-savvy team of consultants dedicated to delivering top-tier value to clients across Oregon. “I knew I couldn’t succeed alone or consistently provide the level of service I wanted without a true team,” Tim shared. “Pre-COVID, we were closing $1.3 million in GCI consistently.”
After stepping away from the industry for a brief period, Tim returned with a renewed focus on culture, strategy, and sustainable growth. “When I came back, I knew I had to be even more intentional about how we built the business,” he said. He launched his own brokerage within the Side, Inc. community, and began rebuilding with a sharper vision—one centered on strategic expansion, local market expertise, and empowering agents to thrive.
Tim’s journey to this partnership was shaped, in part, by his experience with his brokerage, Side. “Side gave me the courage to take control of my business and grow my own brokerage, and now PLACE is giving me the systems and support to scale it the right way,” he said.
