A fourth-generation Coloradan, Broker/Owner/Team Leader Derek Wagner has ranked within the top-producing 5% of Realtors® in the Pikes Peak Region for nearly 20 years. His wife, Mariana, serves as the team manager, handling the day-to-day business responsibilities. She is also an Ethics Instructor for the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®.
Since 2001, the duo has built an elite team who is proud of their strong relationships with clients and the agents they train. Over their careers, the Wagners have helped over 1,000 families buy, sell, and invest in real estate.
The Wagners launched their business on 9/11. As a shared trauma spanned the nation, the Wagners mourned and felt uncertain of the future. “It was a terrifying time for the nation,” said Derek. “Then people weren’t buying or selling real estate. We assembled a new plan and worked with it, but the tragedy challenged that and the market.”
After building a large team in the early 2000s, they scaled back when the Great Recession arrived. “We have organically built a team a few times since then,” said Derek. “Agents come to us, we mentor them, and then go on to launch their own businesses.”
