Story House Real Estate Joins PLACE to Scale with Systems, Impact, and Agent Empowerment

“I never wanted to be the kind of leader someone could outgrow. PLACE gives us the roadmap and resources to help our agents grow faster and go further, while still staying together.”
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., July 2025 — PLACE, the real estate industry’s only all-in-one business services and technology platform for top teams at any brokerage, announced today that Sasha and Kelley Tripp and their company, Story House Real Estate, are now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production to make running a real estate business easier.
Sasha and Kelley are the owners and operators of Story House Real Estate, a high-performing, community-rooted real estate teamerage based in Charlottesville, Virginia. In 2024, their team closed 204 transactions totaling over $100 million in volume, and they have over 2,100 lifetime transactions under Sasha’s leadership. Their team serves clients throughout Charlottesville and Central Virginia, with a focus on delivering a custom, concierge experience to each client.
Sasha entered the real estate industry in 2007 after starting her career in staffing. A lifelong entrepreneur and self-taught marketer, she quickly built a strong personal brand and client base through deep community involvement and mentorship. “I’ve always been the kind of person who looks for ways to help others build something meaningful,” Sasha said. “Whether that’s fellow business owners, relocating families, or new agents, I love connecting people with resources and opportunity.”
Sasha hired her first assistant in 2011 and began intentionally building her team in 2015, slowly growing a small, mighty group of top-tier agents and admin. Kelley joined the team in 2019 to oversee finance and operations, and the team moved into their custom-renovated office in 2020. Today, Story House Real Estate is known for its strong culture, high agent productivity, and deep roots in the local business and university communities.
As Sasha looked toward the future, she knew she wanted to expand impact without sacrificing the heart of what makes Story House special. “I never wanted to be the kind of leader someone could outgrow,” Sasha said. “PLACE gives us the roadmap and resources to help our agents grow faster and go further—while still staying together.”
The decision to partner with PLACE was deeply personal and practical. After a multi-year real estate challenge that tested Sasha and Kelley’s resilience, Sasha reached out to PLACE Co-Founder Ben Kinney for advice. That conversation ultimately revealed the perfect alignment. “The way Ben and Chris lead—with integrity, humility, and a desire to truly serve—is exactly what I try to model in my own leadership,” Sasha said.
With PLACE, Story House agents will gain access to world-class technology, training, health benefits, stock and revenue opportunities, and a clearer path to building long-term wealth. “We now get to offer our agents the chance to be true business owners, with the structure and support to build something lasting,” Sasha said. “This is about generational change for our agents and their loved ones.”
“Sasha and Kelley have built a thoughtful, principled business that’s known for its culture, consistency, and care,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “They’re the kind of leaders who raise the bar in every way, and we’re honored to support them as they grow.”
“Sasha brings heart, vision, and a high standard to everything she touches,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “With PLACE, she’s now equipped to scale her business, empower her agents, and continue shaping the future of real estate in Central Virginia and beyond.”
Story House Real Estate is excited for this new chapter with PLACE. They are ready to scale with purpose, attract and grow their team with driven agents, and deliver exceptional service to clients throughout Charlottesville and Central Virginia. “We’ve laid a strong foundation,” Sasha said. “Now we’re building a business that not only impacts our clients and agents, but our community and industry too.”
