Nick Ratliff, owner and operator of Nick Ratliff Realty Team, serves Central Kentucky, including Lexington, Georgetown, Versailles, and the surrounding areas. His team served 68 clients last year. Since starting his career, Ratliff has overseen approximately 1,200 transactions, equating to over $290 million in lifetime sales.
Nick Ratliff’s journey into real estate began in 2004 while he was pursuing an MBA. With a background in electrical engineering and experience working for a tech start-up, Ratliff decided to apply his analytical and strategic skills to real estate. His initial focus was on building small spec homes, but after the market downturn in 2008, he transitioned into full-time real estate sales.
Building the Nick Ratliff Realty Team was a natural evolution of his business. In 2010, after receiving his broker license, Ratliff started his own boutique firm, driven by the need to provide better service to the growing number of clients interested in his listings. His team was early to adopt real estate CRM technology to help generate leads and streamline processes. “I’ve always enjoyed creating systems for my team that help generate a consistent approach to the complex real estate process,” Ratliff said. “Forming the team allowed us to give each client the attention they deserve.”
