Melonee Piperi, owner and operator of Moving Houston Team, is an elite Realtor® in Greater Houston. Piperi won the Five Star Real Estate Agent award six times and was featured in Texas Monthly in 2022 for her real estate talents.

Piperi and her team have helped more than 2,000 people buy and sell real estate, and in 2022, she closed more than $29 million in sales volume through 103 transactions.

Piperi began arranging a real estate team in the late 90s after her first cancer diagnosis. “I needed help — I was working every hour of the day, seven days a week,” she explained.

Piperi started by hiring a buyers’ agent and studying personality profiles as she built a team. She and her agents continue learning about personality psychology to understand and appreciate clients’ and team members’ unique qualities. “That knowledge has been a huge contributor to our success because we match their personalities as much as possible with the right agent,” Piperi said. “I have phenomenal agents, some being with me as long as 18 years, through two cancer diagnoses.” Piperi was presented with the Spirit of Courage Award by the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation in 2019.

Piperi is proud of her team’s collective experience and long-standing impact, crediting their servant hearts and teamwork. Eventually, Piperi felt that she and her team had reached a plateau and needed a push to get to the next level. “I realized we were receiving leads, not generating them.
