Top producer Max Heckenkemper is the owner and operator of Heckenkemper Team, serving the Tulsa metropolitan area. Since 2007, he has helped more than 1,000 clients buy and sell real estate.
Son of a real estate investor, Heckenkemper didn’t initially intend to join the industry. He spent five successful years in the surgical sales industry, but his entrepreneurial spirit wanted more. He decided to switch paths, earn his real estate license, and launch his career as a Realtor®. “When I joined Keller Williams, my mother was a top agent in my office. She was a great resource because she would give me guidance, but she would not give me any business. ” Heckenkemper said. “She knew I would figure it out or I wasn’t going to make it.”
Despite entering the industry as the Great Recession rolled in, Heckenkemper persevered, enrolling in as many classes as he could and studying all available resources. Heckenkemper partnered in business with his mother and collaborated for a decade. “I focused on sales and my mom focused on the office and administrative parts of the business,” he said. “We were ultimately a sales team.”
On the hunt for solutions, Heckenkemper found PLACE would power his expansion plans. “I have been in this business long enough to know that what I need is what PLACE can provide: a playbook, certain things to fill in the gaps, and then coaching to understand how to produce at a higher level.”
