Matt Chase is the owner and operator of Chase Group, serving the east side of Cleveland to the Lake Erie Islands in the Greater Cleveland area. Since becoming a Realtor® in 2007, he has helped more than 1,800 clients buy and sell real estate. In 2022, he closed $43 million in sales volume through 180 transactions. Chase Group recently ranked in RealTrends’ America’s Best Teams list. Crain’s Cleveland Business named Matt a Notable Residential Real Estate Agent the year prior.

Matt became interested in real estate as a teenager. “I read the book, ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ and decided I wanted to invest in real estate one day. Even through college, it was always in the back of my mind.” Matt was 24 years old and a new father when he entered the real estate industry as the market crashed. He struggled to gain traction in production as a solo agent at a small regional brokerage until a successful agent in the office noticed Matt’s work ethic and recruited him to handle overflow business.

With support and resources, Matt closed 40 transactions over the next eight months. After a few years, Matt hired a coach and launched his team, Chase Group, in 2011. In addition to expertise guiding buyers and sellers through the real estate transaction and a drive to provide an amazing customer experience in their business, the team members of Chase Group are passionate about giving back to the community. They are active supporters of Thanksgiving Heroes, where Matt has served as the president and founder of the Cleveland division.
