Jenny Mateyoke is a long-time top agent and founder of The Mateyoke Group in Central Kentucky. Since earning her real estate license in 2004, she’s helped more than 1,100 people buy and sell real estate. In 2022, The Mateyoke Group sold $25 million in sales volume through 89 transactions.
Mateyoke was once in healthcare management and after several years, she wanted a life and career change. She consulted a Realtor®, earned her license, and then collaborated with local top agents and a mentor. Mateyoke built connections primarily through open houses, closing $1.5 million in volume within her first six months of assisting clients. Mateyoke also discovered a talent for staying in touch with clients. Coming to the office everyday and working her business like a business paid off.
Mateyoke built her initial database through follow-up activities such as sending postcards to clients and prospects. “I still send postcards, and people love them,” she said. As her success scaled, team recruiters approached her but Mateyoke felt driven to build her business piece-by-piece. She advanced to no. 1 in her brokerage and hired her first buyer’s agent. “After growing my family, I needed to work at a different pace,” said Mateyoke.
