Faiyaz and Mike, co-founders and team leaders at Dream Team United, have built an elite real estate business serving North and South Carolina. With offices in the Charlotte Metro, Greenville/Spartanburg, and Greensboro/Winston Salem areas, this team has helped more than 1,600 families achieve the dream of homeownership. In 2022, they sold $136 million in sales volume through 325 transactions.

Mike’s mother was a real estate agent and his father was in construction, so after serving in the USMC, a career in real estate seemed like a natural fit. Mike started his career in new home sales and after a nine year career, entered a general brokerage in 2014.
Faiyaz and Mike first met at a career night in 2015 and found that they had a common background in military intelligence as well as a family history of entrepreneurship and a desire to build something bigger. They continued to grow their own businesses in tandem, and in 2018, they co-founded Carolinas Dream Team. “We have built a team of people we truly like,” explained Mike. “My favorite people in the world are on our team. We root for and support each other, and we are passionate about taking care of people.
The Dream Team is also passionate about serving their community and providing an environment where their team members can build big businesses under the Dream Team umbrella. “One of our values is creating more efficiencies and opportunities so our talented team members can build bigger lives and bigger businesses without ever wanting to leave,” said Faiyaz.

This desire for growth and expansion is what ultimately led Faiyaz and Mike to partner with PLACE. They were involved in masterminds with top agents around the country, and they learned about the success that other PLACE partners were having, but it was through conversations with Ben Kinney that they ultimately determined it was the right move for their business.
“We saw value in PLACE, and at one point, considered trying to build something similar ourselves,” said Mike. “Once we realized what it would take to replicate it, we found that partnering with PLACE would give our team members access to these business opportunities much more quickly and effectively.”
