Brick & Banister Real Estate Co. gains back-end support via PLACE

Announcing a new partnership: Kimberlee Meserve and The Street Property Team are powered by PLACE.

“Our goal is big and stretchy and requires us to do things differently to get there. But it is not so big that it is impossible. Partnering with PLACE makes it doable.”

PLACE Partner Amy Dills believes expansion across state lines is doable with new resources from her partnership.

TAYLORS FALLS, Minn., January 2023 — PLACE, the real estate industry’s only all-in-one business services and technology platform for top teams at any brokerage, announced today that Amy Dills and Brick & Banister Real Estate Co. are now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production to make running a real estate business easier.

Amy Dills is the owner and team leader of Brick & Banister Real Estate Co., serving Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul and Western Wisconsin at present.

Dills became interested in real estate after having an underwhelming transaction experience as a consumer when she bought her first home in 2010. When preparing to buy a few years later, she made a decision. “I went home from an awful showing and signed up for real estate classes myself,” Dills remembered. “I found my calling and couldn’t wait to get out there and start selling houses.” She left her career as a licensed nutritionist, joined a brokerage, and sold 19 houses in her first six months as a Realtor®.

After closing over 30 transactions annually for a few years, Dills launched her own brokerage in 2017. “There are a lot of cool things about being a small broker. You can be nimble, move quickly, and make stuff up as you go,” she said. “On the other hand, there are many things you can’t do. We could never do revenue share, have a referral network, or afford the best technology.”

To empower her brokerage with more opportunities and supportive technology, Dills will partner with PLACE. “PLACE makes us big in the back,” she explained. “Real estate has helped me become the best version of myself many times over the years and I have had the privilege of helping others through that process. I believe that this partnership will allow me to grow and help others grow,” she said. “Everyone I have talked to at PLACE is excited about real estate and I am SO here for that good attitude. I love what real estate does for people who own houses and also for the people who sell them those houses.”

Dills wants to develop her business in a way that provides more consistency in her team members’ lives and businesses. “I want us all to grow, be happy, do hard stuff, and then enjoy some time unwinding with people we love on a patio,” she said. Dills plans to expand her team and envisions opening expansion offices in the Milwaukee area of Wisconsin and the North/South Shores of Lake Superior in Minnesota and Wisconsin. “This goal is big and stretchy and requires us to do things differently to get there,” Dills said. “But it is not so big that it is impossible. Partnering with PLACE makes it doable.”

“Amy has built a unique business by paving her own path and passionately serving people,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “She values the power that real estate can give people, and PLACE will give her the tools to take her impact and growth further.”

“Amy knows what is important in life and is working hard to build a business that prioritizes team members’ business stability and future,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “PLACE systems, technology, and educational opportunities will support her agents’ and business’s growth goals as they expand together.”
