Alpern & Mesenbourg partner with PLACE for the blueprint on business growth
“PLACE is a mirror image of what we were looking to create to support our agents as they create high levels of service for our clients.”
EAST GREENWICH, R.I., January 2023 —PLACE, the industry’s only all-in-one business services and technology platform for top teams at any brokerage, announced today that Sam Alpern, Rhonda Mesenbourg, and Alpern & Mesenbourg are now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production to make running a real estate business easier.
Team Leaders Alpern and Mesenbourg are elite Realtors® who serve Rhode Island, Eastern Connecticut, and Southern Massachusetts. The two combined forces in 2021, and during 2022, closed $18,215,450 in sales volume, assisting 37 families in achieving the dream of homeownership.
Mesenbourg started her career in commercial real estate in Connecticut in 2007, but moved to residential sales when she moved to Rhode Island in 2010. “My timing for getting into real estate was challenging,” said Mesenbourg. “ I grew to realize that learning in a difficult market develops strong skills. If you can survive in a difficult market, you can survive in any market.”
Alpern grew up in New York and moved to Rhode Island to be part of the University of Rhode Island Basketball Team. He spent a year in a corporate environment in New York before moving back to Rhode Island and earning his real estate license. “I entered the real estate business because the harder you work, the better you do and if you start outperforming other people, you advance,” explained Alpern. “That is true in sports as well, and I learned that I crave that type of experience of working hard to create my own destiny.”
As the two focused on building a team, PLACE came into the picture. Both Alpern and Mesenbourg admired Ben Kinney and are excited about the idea of being mentored by him, Chris Suarez, and other top PLACE Partners. “PLACE is a mirror image of what we were looking to create to support our agents as they create high levels of service for our clients,” said Alpern. “Instead of working 5 to 10 years to build something comparable, we can plug in now. It is up to us to learn and utilize the systems to create success.” Echoing Alpern’s excitement, Mesenbourg looks forward to being able to pick up the phone to get support or strategize about next steps. “We are grateful to partner with PLACE and just tap into all these models and systems and have a blueprint on how we can grow our business,” explained Mesenbourg. “Being on that partner level allows us to keep moving ourselves and our team forward.”
“Sam and Rhonda did not jump into their partnership lightly and considered deeply how PLACE could help them expand even further,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “Their big picture perspective and attention to detail, combined with the tools of PLACE, is going to help them expand at a pace they did not imagine.”
