“Our culture is one of showing up and achieving big goals together.”

Alexis McIntosh has built a world-class real estate business through a focus on connection, relationships, and partnership. Read why she thinks PLACE can help G.R.I.T Home Professionals break through to all new levels of success.

Lake Havasu City, Ariz., July 2022 — PLACE, the all-in-one platform delivering intuitive technology and business services to top real estate professionals, announced today that Alexis McIntosh and the G.R.I.T Home Professionals are now powered by PLACE. PLACE partners with leading real estate agents, regardless of brokerage, in 100-plus locations across the United States and Canada.

Consistently a top performer in the Lake Havasu City (Mohave County) area, Alexis McIntosh has served approximately 600 clients and families over the past 10 years, helping them buy, sell, or invest in real estate. In 2021, she and her team closed $28.9 million in volume and completed 56 transactions.

McIntosh began her real estate career working in an administrative position for a local agent. She loved the connections she built with clients and the learning opportunities provided. McIntosh was eager to help clients beyond coordinating the backend of transactions and soon set her sights on becoming a real estate professional herself. “I have a huge passion for the business – even before I was licensed.” McIntosh explained. “I loved that people could rely on me and I thrived on providing the best service I could.”

Once licensed, she was fortunate to join the top producing real estate team in her county, who had more business than they could manage. At the time, there was no formal training program but the two agents who led the team entrusted McIntosh to manage follow up with potential client leads. “It was definitely sink or swim,” she explained. “I just started making calls to see what I could do and it worked out well.” She developed her own script and quickly converted many of those calls into appointments. McIntosh was grateful to get her foot in the door and soon developed a massive book of business. However, she was ready to move beyond the small town where she lived and after a year, she moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ.

McIntosh quickly built a team of 6 agents that produced $28 million in volume in its first year and a half in existence. But, still her situation did not feel exactly right so she left that team and moved out on her own. After a couple of years as an independent agent, and much thought and consideration, McIntosh launched G.R.I.T (Growth. Reliability. Innovation. Trust.) Home Professionals in 2020. “I spent quite a while planning what my business would look like, what systems I wanted in place, and how I would build my team,” she explained.

“I am so excited for PLACE’s incredible network of people, next level technology, and limitless opportunities for the agents that join our team moving forward.”

After interviewing approximately 70 potential agents, McIntosh was soon able to easily identify each candidate’s motivations and readiness for achieving big goals. Her knack for hiring resulted in a stellar group of real estate professionals and nothing short of a meteoric rise in their market. The G.R.I.T Team is ranked in the top four percent of real estate teams in the Lake Havasu City region. “I didn’t necessarily want the biggest team or even agents with the most experience,” she explained. “I want people who take action, who want to be coached, and are willing to learn and implement new processes. Our culture is one of showing up and achieving big goals together.”

McIntosh and her team have built a strong reputation in their market by building lifelong relationships and strong connections with clients. “We try to give as much as we can,” she explained. “We don’t just sell people a house and forget. It’s all about connection.” McIntosh is committed to pouring into both her clients and her agents. Recently, she has shifted gears and is focused on onboarding, training, and ensuring her team is thriving. “We have a great culture in our office,” she explained. “A lot of that is the result of partnering with the right people.”

McIntosh first heard of PLACE at a training event and after taking her time to understand the value, she was ready to partner. “The culture and people behind PLACE are phenomenal,” she said. “I’m ready to grow and see what we are truly capable of with PLACE.” McIntosh also looks forward to the processes and systems of PLACE and believes they are what her team requires to break through the limits that have seemed persistent. McIntosh is excited about the accountability in PLACE systems and will look to those processes to help her team achieve new levels of success.

“With PLACE, we join an ecosystem of people doing so much more with proven results and as we join that room we make ourselves accountable to those people, and have no choice but to level up,” McIntosh explained. “PLACE has created an easy growth plan to follow with a streamlined implementation and I know this partnership will steer us in the right direction. I am so excited for PLACE’s incredible network of people, next level technology, and limitless opportunities for the agents that join our team moving forward.”

“Alexis understands first-hand the importance of partnership,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “She has built a world-class business by partnering with those who share her drive and passion for connecting with clients. PLACE is going to provide her the framework to scale her already thriving team to the next level.”

“Alexis’ energy is contagious and we are excited she is partnering with PLACE,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “Her focus on relational real estate and building a team with cohesive vision and goals will be supported by the systems and processes available through PLACE.”

“Success is about partnering with the right people,” said McIntosh. “I believe that partnering with PLACE is doing just that.”
