Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why did PLACE acquire Remine?
PLACE acquired Remine to expand its technology ecosystem in a way that aligns with its mission to empower real estate professionals. With a complementary product offering, shared values, and overlapping customer bases, the acquisition strengthens PLACE’s ability to deliver scalable solutions across the real estate industry.
Will Remine’s current platform and services change?
The existing Remine team will continue to serve the MLS and end user, and the full product suite—including Remine Pro, SSO Dashboard, Docs+ e-signature and forms,—will be retained and further developed.
How will PLACE leverage Remine’s technology?
PLACE intends to enhance Remine’s platform by integrating it with its existing tools, using AI-driven prospecting features and data intelligence to help agents and MLS members work more effectively. Through PLACE’s training infrastructure, MLSs will also benefit from increased engagement and usage among their members.
What is PLACE’s approach to MLS data integrity and security?
PLACE and Remine remain fully committed to data protection and contractual compliance. All existing data licensing agreements will be honored in full, with no changes to usage policies. Data will only be used to benefit MLS members and individual users—not for resale or repurposing outside the scope of those agreements.
What can MLSs expect in the months ahead?
Remine has worked hard to maintain a stable platform and is focused on enhancing its product suite. MLS input will shape the product roadmap, and PLACE’s commitment to transparency and open communication will guide the transition. Expect improvements, integrations, and new engagement strategies—all designed with MLS leadership and members in mind.
