Dave Umphress, owner and operator of Flourish Collective, leads a team that serves the Colorado Front Range, including Denver, Littleton, Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, and Loveland. Last year, the team sold 210 homes, with a total sales volume of $112 million, and has completed over 2,000 transactions since its inception.
Dave entered the real estate industry in 2012 after responding to a Craigslist ad that led him to a career night. From there, he quickly received his license and began making calls, setting the foundation for his future success.
In 2014, Dave took the leap into team building, focusing on becoming what he calls a “listing machine.” His dedication to listings quickly led to an overflow of business, prompting him to hire additional agents. However, the road to expansion wasn’t without its challenges. “I failed consistently for a year at hiring,” Dave said, “but eventually surrendered to a structured hiring process, which allowed me to grow.” Over time, his vision evolved into Flourish Collective—a network of agents and teams all over Colorado, dedicated to human flourishing in their cities through their internal 501c3, Flourish Alliance, which focuses on local concerns such as food insecurity, homelessness, human trafficking, and affordable housing, as well as the water crisis in Africa.
