Dan Gjerseth, CEO at the Dan Realty Group, is an elite real estate professional in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin market. Thanks to hard work and relentless attentiveness to clients, Dan Realty Group was voted Best of Chippewa Valley for Real Estate in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, Gjerseth closed $18.5 million in volume, assisting 93 families achieve the dream of homeownership.

Gjerseth initially opened his own moving company, but after graduating with a business degree in entrepreneurship, he set his sights on real estate. “I decided I needed a change,” he explained. Focusing on surrounding himself with great people, Gjerseth started his real estate company in 2018, leveraging social media and community events to build his database. “There are a lot of real estate agents in our area,” he said. “We had to do something different to stand out.”

Gjerseth expanded his Google platform, strengthened his Facebook presence, and created numerous YouTube videos to educate potential buyers about owning a home and investing in Eau Claire. Ultimately, that exposure and recognition grew his business. “We work hard to build meaningful relationships with our clients and provide outstanding service based on their needs.”

He is proud of his team, their client relationships, and the fun they have together. Operations Director, Morgan Jaeger, manages the group’s Facebook page, which in addition to house listings and closings, includes numerous live streams from team meetings to personal anecdotes. “We are like-minded individuals that all have a growth mindset, who are working together to make ourselves and our team better. ” Jaeger explained. “New clients often tell us they already feel like they know us from our Facebook and other online channels.”

Gjerseth describes his team as “low key, hard core.” They are continuously looking for ways to grow and Gjerseth believes partnering with PLACE is the next logical step. “I believe that partnering with PLACE will allow us to grow unlike anything we have ever seen,” said Gjerseth. “I believe we can achieve our long-term goals of expansion much quicker working hand-in-hand with the PLACE platform.”
