Ron and Eva Cedillo, owners and operators of HBR Team, have long been serving the Central and East Bay in California. Based out of Tracy, California they service the surrounding areas including Livermore, Pleasanton, Stockton, and Modesto. Last year, their impressive business acumen led to a remarkable achievement of 112 properties and a volume just shy of $70 million, contributing to their career total of more than 1,000 transactions or homes sold.
Before diving into real estate, Eva was entrenched in corporate travel while Ron worked as a loan officer. Their foray into real estate began nearly 24 years ago, driven by necessity and a relentless entrepreneurial spirit. Ron became ill and that was the catalyst for Eva entering the industry. She knew she would have the potential to provide for her family without Ron if needed. “We always treated it like a business. It was never a part-time gig,” Eva said. “In the back of my mind, we didn’t know if Ron would ever get sick again. We were always prepping for doom. That drove us to make this work at a high level from the beginning.”
The decision to partner with PLACE comes from a desire to focus on their core strengths, aided by PLACE’s robust support system. “I’m regularly surrounded by some of the top real estate team leaders across the country. We do lots of networking and mastermind groups,” said Eva.
When she first heard Ben Kinney speak at RATE, his message resonated deeply with her. This alignment grew stronger after meeting Chris Suarez. Eva added, “If I could have Chris and Ben supplement Ron as he spends some of his time growing another business, and I have this whole team working on things I don’t like to do – accounting, marketing, and HR – I can focus on my strength, which is running a real estate business.”
