“Our coach helped us realize that if we wanted to make a massive impact, we couldn’t do it alone.”

Denisse Oceguera and Jamie Lee Yawn, new PLACE Partners, believe that PLACE will help them grow their team with agents who strive to be authentic, protect their team culture, serve clients, and achieve individual goals to allow them to live intentional and fulfilling lives.

MARIETTA, Ga., November 2022 — PLACE, the industry’s only all-in-one business services and technology platform for top teams at any brokerage, announced today that Denisse Oceguera, Jamie Lee Yawn, and Live Free Realty Atlanta are now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production to make running a real estate business easier, and currently supports over 150 real estate businesses across the United States and Canada.

Denisse Oceguera and Jamie Lee Yawn have been successful real estate professionals individually, on the same team, and now as partners in Live Free Realty. As they supported each other’s solo efforts, they realized that in a partnership, they could grow in a way that fulfills their values of authenticity, support, and culture. Over the course of their careers, they have assisted more than 500 families achieve the dream of homeownership. During 2021, they closed $38 million in sales volume through 102 transactions.

Oceguera started her real estate career in 2014 after a short stint in marketing for a dental office. “I liked working in the dental office but I could not see it developing into the path I wanted to live,” she explained. Her now husband was interviewing with a real estate brokerage and, on a whim, — she decided to apply as well.

Six weeks later, Oceguera earned her license and launched her real estate career. Yawn, on the other hand, got into real estate soon after she graduated from college. She was in sales in Savannah, Georgia when a lead expressed interest in interviewing her for a job selling new construction homes, which she ended up doing for almost 5 years. “It was during a hurricane evacuation that I visited the team in Atlanta that Denisse was already a part of,” said Yawn. “I went back to Savannah, packed up, and joined the team in Atlanta.”

These partners credit a strong coach with helping them work through their fears about growing as a team. “Our coach helped us realize that in order to make a massive impact, we can’t get there independently,” Oceguera said. Yawn added, “We had to develop a different mindset.” They joined a mastermind group of other big-thinking top producers. Oceguera shares, “I like to say we’re the dumbest and poorest people in the room, and we did that by design.”

As they saw several successful business owners joining PLACE, they decided it was time to see what it was all about, despite lingering fears that massive growth might dilute their hard-earned culture. “We decided that we needed to know what we were saying no to, and of course, we didn’t say no – we said yes.”

Oceguera and Yawn believe that PLACE offers them the tools to build a team that fulfills their personal goals and missions, and those of their team members. “We are really excited to maintain our culture on a larger scale while topgrading the room,” said Oceguera. “We believe future growth thanks to our PLACE partnership will make such a difference for current and future members of Live Free Atlanta.”

“We are excited about the opportunity PLACE provides for different avenues to success for our agents, who all have different personal and professional goals.”

Oceguera and Yawn are looking forward to the growth and leverage PLACE affords them, but are equally delighted about what it means for their team members. “We are excited about the opportunity PLACE provides for different avenues to success for our agents, who all have different personal and professional goals,” said Yawn. “They are not limited to what they can do and are afforded the opportunity to learn the best in the business throughout the entire country.”

“Denisse and Jamie Lee care so much about helping others learn the business and succeed. That kind of servant leadership will help them reach higher levels than they can imagine, as they bring others along with them,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “I am excited that Live Free Realty Atlanta has partnered with PLACE.”

“Keeping sight of who you are in your business can be challenging as you are pulled multiple ways while the to-do list grows. It is exciting to see Denisse and Jamie Lee prioritize that for themselves and their team members,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “I love their desire to help others build wealth all while recognizing that individuals all have different personal and professional goals.”
