Leah Tounger and The Leah Tounger Realty Group of Greater East Bay are proud to be powered by PLACE. Find out how Leah grew her business with a practical, hands-on approach, and what has now led her to PLACE.
Oakland, CA; February 2022 — PLACE, the real estate industry’s only all-inclusive platform that combines technology, business services, and growth and profitability tools for top producers, announced today that The Leah Tounger Realty Group of Keller Williams Oakland, led by Principal Leah Tounger, is now powered by PLACE.
Tounger is currently ranked in the top one percent of all realtors in the Greater East Bay and the top one-half percent for all Oakland/Berkeley realtors. Since 2006, when Tounger began her real estate career, her team has helped more than 275 families buy, sell, or invest in real estate and, in 2021, she closed more than $67 million in volume.
Her interest in real estate was built from the ground up – literally. Years ago, she acted as general contractor while building her home. “We did most of the work ourselves,” Tounger remembered. “I actually swept up every single day.” From there, Tounger then moved on to flipping homes, again, doing most of the work herself and selling for sale by owner.
It was then that Tounger realized that she enjoyed selling homes more than building them, so she got to work developing her real estate career. “I joined a traditional brokerage in 2006 for the training,” said Tounger. “I wanted a good, sound start.”
“We always go the extra mile putting our clients’ needs first.”
Tounger’s practical and tactical approach to real estate allowed her to build a small and mighty team. And, in pursuit of more opportunity for her team, she discovered PLACE. “We have a culture of collaboration, personal growth, wealth building, and giving.” she said. “PLACE really dovetails into our culture as a team.”
“Real estate isn’t just a career. It’s a vehicle to build personal wealth, give back, and leave a legacy behind.”
“Leah achieves results through involvement and service and as she grows her team, PLACE will be a strong partner in that commitment,” said PLACE Co-Founder Chris Suarez. “Her passion for life-long learning and leaving a legacy of giving will grow even stronger partnering with PLACE.”
“We do these 100 and 200-mile rides for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. When you do that, you meet like-minded people,” said Tounger. “You find people who are passionate about giving back. And I see that same passion in the people at PLACE.”
“Leah is respected by her peers, her agents, and her community and we welcome her to PLACE,” said PLACE Co-Founder Ben Kinney. “Leah has set big goals for herself and her team and we look forward to growing with her.”
