“PLACE is finding ways for agents to better serve clients more effectively with a greater range of services for the future of our industry.”

Veteran Grant Rothberg says he will fortify his business with PLACE to better serve clients across the Greater Houston region.

PEARLAND, Texas, January 2023 —PLACE, the industry’s only all-in-one business services and technology platform for top teams at any brokerage, announced today that Grant Rothberg and Rothberg Realty Group are now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production to make running a real estate business easier.

Rothberg, CEO and Team Leader of Rothberg Realty Group, is a bronze-star recipient combat veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan and a former Special Operations Jumpmaster with the Texas National Guard. Grant is an elite Realtor®, trainer, and advisor in Greater Houston. He is a top agent at his brokerage and within the top 2% of agents in Greater Houston. In the past five years, he has helped more than 250 families buy and sell real estate. During the past two years, he has closed more than $35,000,000 in sales volume through 131 transactions.

In 2010, Rothberg became interested in real estate investing during deployment and absorbed any real estate and economic content he found. “I got my real estate license in 2017 and decided to give it a go,” explained Rothberg. “Initially, I was just hopeful to do enough business to survive until the next month, but we quickly saw sustained success,” Rothberg said.

Rothberg refuses mediocrity and to “just be okay at something.” As a new agent, he attended an awards banquet for the market center he was considering joining.

He determined he would do whatever it took to earn their Rookie of the Year at the next event. The following year he did and was honored with the award.

Over the years, he’s followed his original business plans, leading his team to great success. Rothberg is proud of the innovative service his team provides for clients. “We find a solution for every problem,” he explained. “No matter the challenges a client is facing or where they are in their journey, we find a way.” The team exemplifies their creativity and solution-oriented mindset as the no. 1 user of Homeward in the nation, a service that provides sellers the cash needed to buy their next home, even before their first home has sold.

Rothberg views his PLACE partnership as an elevation of his team’s innovative talents. “I don’t know what the future of the real estate industry looks like, but I know it does not look like the industry of today,” he explained. “PLACE is finding ways for agents to better serve clients more effectively with a greater range of services for the future of our industry.”

Rothberg has grand team visions, especially regarding artificial intelligence in proptech. “I need to take advantage of the best systems, processes, and technology,” said Rothberg. “I want a partner who can help us focus on the most important part of business – the people – and PLACE is leading us there.”

“Grant views every transaction and client as a mission, with challenges that must be overcome for success,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “I love that tenacity. PLACE will help him grow those passions and better serve his world.”

“Grant has a people-first mindset that aligns perfectly with PLACE values and culture,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “I believe that his vision and work ethic will shine even more with the tools and systems of PLACE.”

“All the partners and people of PLACE are not just smart and driven, but want to do the right thing,” said Rothberg. “There is real accountability. When you have that type of relationship with your business partners, there is shared trust that helps us serve more people effectively.”
