Cindy Carrigan and Doc Nicolson are the owners and operators of the award-winning team, Five Star Real Estate Network, serving Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. In the past two years alone, Carrigan and Nicolson have helped more than 500 people buy and sell real estate.
Carrigan began her real estate career in 2001 to supplement her household income and cover the expenses of her children’s extracurricular activities. “I would take my kids to open houses while working part-time,” she explained. “When they started school in 2006, I joined a team and learned about real estate at a high level.”
Nicolson became an agent in 1995, just a year after graduating from high school. “I was that kid who would get home plans and calculate the price per square foot to build for fun,” said Nicolson. “I hated college, and one of my professors suggested I earn my real estate license, try selling houses, and return to school later if I wanted.” Nicolson saw success early in his career and never returned to college.
