Current CFO to Lead Broader Company Functions
Bellingham, Wash.; August 10, 2022 — PLACE, the industry’s only all-in-one real estate technology and business services platform powering the top 20% of real estate agents, announced today that current Chief Financial Officer Ross Clawson is being promoted to Chief Administrative Officer. In addition to this promotion, Clawson has agreed to hold a seat on the company’s five person board which is currently composed of investors, founders and early employees.
This advancement is the result of Clawson’s significant impact on PLACE’s journey that started with the company’s creation to the recent $100 million Series A raise to the hypergrowth of PLACE sales teams.
Prior to PLACE and his previous work with PLACE Co-Founder Ben Kinney, Clawson served as President and CFO of Homax where he led the company to a successful sale to a Fortune 200 company. Early in his career, he led Finance and Accounting at Paul Hastings after a successful run at Ernst & Young.

As Chief Administrative Officer, Clawson will oversee and integrate day-to-day operations of the company’s three business lines – SaaS, real estate teams and the ever growing consumer services. He will continue to lead and scale the financial services offered to PLACE sales teams. While PLACE searches for a new CFO, Clawson will be in a dual role.
