Ken Hoover partners with PLACE to deliver more opportunities to his real estate team

Ken Hoover’s passion for real estate and his desire to help his clients and agents led him to PLACE.

Kansas City, Mo., August 2022 — PLACE, the industry’s only all-inclusive platform delivering intuitive technology and business services to top real estate professionals, announced today that Ken Hoover and the Ken Hoover Real Estate Group are now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production for the top 20% of real estate teams, currently supporting over 130 real estate businesses across the United States and Canada.

A premier real estate professional in Kansas City’s Northland market, Hoover has helped more than 1,000 families achieve the dream of homeownership since he became licensed in 2007. In 2021, the Ken Hoover Real Estate Group closed $28 million in sales volume and assisted over 100 customers.

“I am excited that agents will have a clear growth path and know that if we work together, we can create a pretty special place for all of us and our clients.”

A down-to-earth guy, Hoover is a Kansas City native. He loves spending time with his family, being active in his community, and helping clients achieve their real estate and investment goals. Finding common ground with each of his clients and understanding their priorities ensures uncommonly exceptional results and satisfaction in a process that can be overwhelming.

When he was growing up, Hoover’s family owned a restaurant and marina where he learned business management and customer service skills. He later moved to Florida to manage a restaurant but returned home to Kansas City with his wife when they began to start a family. Hoover wasn’t sure what his next step should be but knew he wanted out of the restaurant business. “I had a good friend who suggested real estate but I had no clue what that would entail,” he explained. “But, he knew I could do it because I was a hard worker.”

Hoover then got licensed, found a brokerage, and attended a real estate seminar to figure out what he needed to do to be successful. “Real estate was different back then and many said it was as ‘easy as answering your phone,’” said Hoover. “Of course, I had to learn how to make my phone ring in order to succeed!”

“We want to deliver the dream of homeownership throughout our city and PLACE gives us the tools to grow and concentrate on that initiative.”

After a few years, Hoover felt that working independently may not be the best path for growth, so he moved brokerages. “I received training, direction, and support,” he explained. “I saw the light at the end of the tunnel as I found people who were more open to what I wanted to do.”

Over the years, Hoover has grown his team and his business, but at times found the process frustrating as agents left or the market shifted. “I want to create an environment where nobody wants to leave my team,” said Hoover. “When something takes a left turn, I have to change direction or recreate the process – all while trying to remain in production.”

That is where PLACE comes in for Hoover. Partnering with PLACE will allow him to provide his agents what they need to succeed. “I could talk until I am blue in the face, but it may not come out the way I intend or in a way they understand,” he explained. “I want to grow and share the right systems. I am excited that my agents will have a clear growth path and know that if we work together, we can create a pretty special place for all of us and our clients.”

“Ken’s passion for his team and delivering the dream of homeownership to those in his community is unmistakable,” said Ben Kinney, Co-Founder of PLACE. “I welcome him to PLACE and look forward to watching him grow and create what he has long envisioned for his team and his community.”

“I love that Ken is passionate about his team and his city and his clients,” said Chris Suarez, Co-Founder of PLACE. “The systems of PLACE are going to help him harness that energy and provide structure for growth and satisfaction.”

“I believe PLACE is going to help me provide resources my agents can’t get anywhere else,” said Hoover. “We want to deliver the dream of homeownership throughout our city and PLACE gives us the tools to grow and concentrate on that initiative.”
