Announcing a new partnership: Kimberlee Meserve and The Street Property Team are powered by PLACE.
New PLACE Partner Karl Isenburg knows how to build relationships and sell real estate. Partnering with PLACE gives Karl and his team the tools and resources for unlimited growth, both professionally and personally.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.; September 2022 — PLACE, the industry’s only all-inclusive platform delivering intuitive technology and business services to top real estate professionals, announced today that Isenburg Residential is now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability and production for the top 20% of real estate teams, and currently supports over 150 real estate businesses across the United States and Canada.

Team Owner and CEO, Karl Isenburg, and Director of Operations, Sherrie Travers, have worked together for 17 years. The two have been through up, down, and sideways markets, but their passion for helping people has ultimately allowed them to build an incredibly successful real estate business. Over the past 22 years, Isenburg has helped more than 700 families achieve the dream of homeownership. In 2022, Isenburg Residential is on track to sell over $35 million in sales volume across 60 units.

“If you join our team, we are going to teach you to be a rock star.”

A salesman by nature, Isenburg spent the first 18 years of his career selling, managing, and owning a variety of apparel brands. In 1999, he and his family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, and Isenburg became a licensed Realtor®. Starting a relationship-based business was a challenge given his newcomer status, so he had to get creative in making connections. “I became involved at my kids’ schools, started volunteering in the community, and researched city issues,” he explained. “I started knocking on doors, hosting open houses, and using my past sales experience to meet clients.”

Through hard work and great client service, Isenburg’s business was growing with 98 percent originating from his sphere. “There is nothing romantic about how we became successful,” he explained. “We worked really hard, took care of our clients, knew the area, and understood market conditions.”

About the time Isenburg started achieving some success, the market crashed, and he and Travers saw the business flounder. “It was heartbreaking to have sold somebody their dream home and then have to help them sell in a short sale market,” she said. “It was tough but we are resilient. We were not going to let a market tell us we were done. We knew our careers and passion were in real estate.”

“The bottom line is that no matter how the market changes, new agents joining us with PLACE as a partner will learn how to navigate this business and win.”

At about the same time, Isenburg’s daughter was gravely ill. The bank urged him to foreclose on his house based on the amount of debt he was accumulating, but he did not give up. “That is when I learned you can survive any market by having the grit to do what it takes to make things happen,” he said. His daughter recovered and Isenburg got back on good financial standing. “I was in survival mode,” he said. “I learned that things can always be worse than you think but we came back from the ashes. We did not leave the industry.”

Fortunately, many of the families who were forced to short sell due to the economy have now returned to again buy their dream homes. “We are here to help people. Our business is relationship based, so when we bring on new team members we teach them how to be successful through their database and their relationships,” said Isenburg. “With PLACE we now have the added strength of massive lead generation to layer on to our existing business – that is one of the many reasons we are excited about our partnership with PLACE.”

Isenburg and Travers appreciate the leverage that PLACE will bring them as they maintain the team culture of caring for team members and clients while giving more opportunity and even better service. “If you join our team, we are going to teach you to be a rockstar,” said Isenburg. “Now, with PLACE, there is so much more opportunity for coaching, training, and insurance than we could provide on our own.”

Travers loves that PLACE provides specific benefits that will help the team attract talent. “The opportunity for people to grow within the team is exciting,” she explained. “Sometimes an agent outgrows a team but with PLACE, that will not be the case.”

The two are optimistic about the future and truly believe that there are no limitations to their team’s size and impact. “We can grow exponentially with no limits,” said Isenburg. “The bottom line is that no matter how the market changes, new agents joining us with PLACE as a partner will learn how to navigate this business and win. That is a great value proposition for a new or seasoned agent.”

“We welcome Karl and Sherrie to PLACE,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “Their enthusiasm and strong vision of how partnering with PLACE is going to help their business expand is contagious and I look forward to being part of that growth.”

“Karl and Sherrie have been through all kinds of markets and their tenacity to not only to survive but thrive is amazing,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “I am happy they have partnered with PLACE and know that the growth of their team will greatly enhance their passion for helping people achieve the dream of homeownership.”
