Misti Bruton partners with PLACE for business and agent growth opportunities

SAN MARCOS, Tex., July 2023 — PLACE, the industry’s only all-in-one business services and technology platform for top real estate teams at any brokerage, announced today that Misti Bruton and AVO Realty Group of Real Broker are now powered by PLACE. Misti Bruton is a Central Texas native and the owner and operator of AVO Realty Group. While they’re based out of San Marcos and focus on San Marcos and New Braunfels, they service all of Central Texas including San Antonio, Austin, Georgetown, and all the way to Houston.
A native of Central Texas, Misti first earned her real estate license after graduating from high school in 1994. “I had a friend whose family was in real estate, and they had an amazing lifestyle,” she said. “I liked the flexibility. It seemed like the right direction for me, and I thought I could be a Realtor® and pursue a rewarding career while in college.” Misti ultimately focused her studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology and pursued a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology.
She never abandoned her dream of being a Realtor® and was drawn back to real estate by flipping properties. In 2015, she was ready to renew her license and hit the ground running as a real estate agent. “I had a pretty big sphere because I grew up in the area,” Misti said. “I started with a lot of online leads and got into coaching early on. I knew if I was going to build a business, I needed structure and systems in place.”
Misti’s colleague at Real Broker, Erik Hatch, partnered with PLACE and told her about the plug-and-play ease of the PLACE platform. “Immediately I jumped on board, trusting the experiences of those who partnered before me,” said Misti. “I’m excited for the ‘what’s next’ plan PLACE offers.”
Misti and Todd are eager to provide their team members with the growth support they’ve been craving. “We have a great team that wants to grow, and with PLACE, we believe that is possible without them outgrowing us,” she said. “I am excited for their futures.”
