Announcing a new partnership: Kimberlee Meserve and The Street Property Team are powered by PLACE.
Cathy Stubbs has a passion for helping people with their real estate needs and helping her community be the premier place to live in the Houston area. Read how she believes partnering with PLACE allows her business to expand and her team to continue giving back to the community she loves.

SUGAR LAND, Tex.; August 2022 — PLACE, the industry’s only all-inclusive platform delivering intuitive technology and business services to top real estate professionals, announced today that Cathy Stubbs is now powered by PLACE. PLACE improves profitability, production, recruiting, and retention for the top 20% of real estate teams, and currently supports over 130 businesses across the United States and Canada.

A third-generation Houstonian and resident of Fort Bend County since 1987, luxury agent Cathy Stubbs takes great pride in providing superior service and developing long-term business relationships for investors, buyers, and sellers. During 2021, Stubbs closed $31.6 million in sales volume with 79 units sold.

Becoming a Realtor® was second nature for Stubbs, whose dad was a long-time Houston real estate professional. Soon after being licensed, Stubbs moved to Fort Bend County and immediately took advantage of every real estate opportunity, training, coaching, event available. “I soaked up every opportunity and my career blossomed,” she recounted. “At that time, I had no idea how blessed I was to join a brokerage that offered all the tools and training I would need to be a success.”

“I have built a tremendous business and as I consider how it will grow and what role I want to play, PLACE offers the tools needed to help my team flourish.”

As her business grew, Stubbs realized that she was interested in more than maintaining the status quo. From hiring and managing various agents and administrators, Stubbs ultimately learned how to recruit talent that would be the best fit for her team. “They are not staff members,” she said. “We are a team – each of us brings our own talents, skills, and perspective to the table. Our conjoined passions makes this team successful. We are all so different, but the sum truly is greater than the parts.”

Client service and results are the hallmark of Stubbs’ business. “Nothing is more satisfying than helping people achieve their real estate goals,” she explained. “My team always takes the emotional impact of buying or selling a home into consideration as we work with clients to ensure we move at their speed, educate them along the way, and maintain full transparency through every transaction.”

Stubbs’ client-forward approach is what first led her to consider partnering with PLACE. “I have known and worked with Ben Kinney for years,” she explained. “We have a similar background and our values are in sync. I have built a tremendous business and as I consider how it will grow and what role I want to play, PLACE offers the tools needed to help my team flourish.”

“PLACE offers many training and business technology options that will help my agents achieve their goals so they can help our clients achieve their goals.”

Stubbs and her team meet formally twice weekly and informally on an as-needed basis. “We review our listings, talk about the challenges we face, and come up with solutions. It is incredible to lead a team of agents who love what they do and are here to help people achieve the dream of homeownership.”

Stubbs loves real estate and her community, and supports various charities and the arts locally. This year, The Cathy Stubbs Team was the presenting sponsor of the inaugural Sugar Land Arts Fest. “I have a creative side and feel strongly that the arts create an important layer in every community,” Stubbs explained. “I love this diverse community, its rich history, and believe supporting the arts makes Fort Bend County an even better place to live.”

“PLACE offers many training and business technology options that will help my agents achieve their goals so they can help our clients achieve their goals,” explained Stubbs. “I look forward to having more time to focus on areas of the business that I most enjoy, as well as helping my community become an even better place for people to live.”

“Cathy is a good friend who I admire for not only building a luxury business, but also helping build her community,” said Ben Kinney, co-founder of PLACE. “I welcome her to PLACE and know that our systems will help her achieve the goals she has set for herself, her agents, and her clients.”

“I am so excited that Cathy has partnered with PLACE,” said Chris Suarez, co-founder of PLACE. “Her values are in alignment with those of PLACE and I look forward to watching her grow her real estate business, help her agents reach their goals, all while having more time to devote to her family and community events.”

“It is great to partner with people who I have so much in common with,” said Stubbs. “I am proud of the business I have built and am very excited about how it will grow as we partner with PLACE.”
